'Eternal Evolution' Framed Original
Digital Collage on Hahnemühle Torchon Fine Art Paper with 21 Karat Gold Leaf
Art size: 88 × 66cm (excluding frame)
Digital collage created with photographs of ordinary urban objects (like lampposts and rubbish bins) then hand embellished
About the art: The journey from assumed brokenness to acceptance of myself with all of my contradictions allowed me to remember long forgotten universal truths: that we are always worthy and enough, exactly as we are; that we have the ability to alchemise difficult experiences into metaphorical gold; and that we ourselves are the very fabric and structure of existence itself, in its infinite state of imperfect beauty and eternal evolution. All of which free me from self-imposed prisons, created without awareness a long, long time ago.
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
– Maya Angelou
